What snow!!!

Well the promise of snow was a big disappointment. The closest we got was the fish pond freezing over with ice. Mark and I did manage to poke this with a stick, our shoes and feel fairly confident that it was ice. (Where do the fish go???)

The temperature has stayed very low. 3 or 4 degrees in the day and up to -7 in the night. But we have had clear blue skies for a few days now and this is predicted for the rest of the week. Even I know that you need clouds to make snow.

So perhaps no luck with the snow this winter.
