A group of us went to Hangzhou this weekend. It's a larger city than Suzhou - about 2 hours south from here. Mark and I only stayed for one night, but managed to walk a significant distance in this time.
We went to the West Lake which is in the centre of town and walked around the gardens, temples and pagodas there. It was a very nice time to go as spring is here and all the flowers and blossoms were out. I liked the pool with all the turtles in it.
